The Kissimmee Compassion Team

The Kissimmee Compassion Team is made up of a group of amazingly talented and compassionate individuals that serve the Kissimmee community and its surrounding areas. They practice as Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Registered State Interns, and Professional Life Coaches. Our Team Core Beliefs are grounded in prioritizing God, Family, and Self-Care before service to ensure that our professionals are at their best emotionally and spiritually within their personal lives so that they can provide the highest quality of care for our clients. Our Kissimmee Compassion team engages in continued professional development throughout the year to stay up to date on effective intervention strategies for improving the mental health of our clients.

Erin’s dedication to helping others grow and tackle life’s challenges has led to a decade of service in the mental health and education fields. She has a passion for working collaboratively with clients to help them find balance, healing, and live a fulfilling life. As a counselor, Erin strives to provide a safe place where clients are not only listened to but heard. Her vision is to empower clients to become the best version of themselves.

 

Erin provides individual counseling services to children, teens, and adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as social issues and behavioral concerns. She uses therapeutic modalities and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, social skills building, mindfulness exercises, emotional regulation, and psychoeducation to help clients reach their goals.

Lyanne Soto-Ramos, LCSW

Lyanne is a Licensed Clinical Social worker whose desire to help others feel heard and conquer life, has been with her from early on in her career. Lyanne has been working in the mental health field for the past 5 years including working with those going through crisis, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and grief.  She provides mental health care in both English and Spanish speaking individuals and families. Through Lyanne's work, she is able to successfully support clients who want to rationalize and organize their thoughts and learn to regulate their emotions in effective and healthy ways. Lyanne utilizes therapeutics techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive psychotherapy, mindfulness, solution focused and emotional regulation skills to aid client's in achieving mental health wellness and live more fulfilling lives. 

 

Lyanne additionally supports and motivates clients by providing psycho-education to help them build a toolbox they can carry with them through life. Lyanne believes that life can be a beautiful opportunity to learn, grow and process.

Breanna Nelson, Ed. S.

Licensed School Psychologist

Breanna specializes in helping children and adolescents in a multitude of capacities. Her passion for helping others has resulted in 6+ years in the field, with experience working in elementary, middle, and high schools. She offers both individual counseling and psychological evaluation services to identify challenges that may be hindering success at home and school. Testing for gifted intelligence, learning disabilities, cognitive deficits, intellectual disabilities, social-emotional/behavioral disabilities, executive functioning deficits, and autism spectrum disorders are offered by Breanna. 

In the therapeutic environment, Breanna utilizes a combination of approaches dependent on the needs of the client. These may include cognitive behavioral strategies, positive psychology foundations, and humanistic realization. Helping children and teens to identify their strengths and gifts is a vital link to promoting confidence, self-esteem, and independence. Breanna has experience helping children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, life changes, history of trauma, obsessive compulsive disorders, grief, executive functioning stressors, anger, and more.

Nitza Santiago, M.A.

Licensed Therapist

Nitza is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Masters in Counseling and a minor in Play Therapy. She has dedicated her life's work to serving individuals struggling with mental health challenges and going through difficult life transitions. Nitza firmly believes that all processes we go through in life can serve to strengthen our character and lead us towards transformational growth. For this reason, she is passionate about working with individuals to empower them to be the best versions of themselves and to live out their life's purpose.  

Nitza provides counseling services for children, teens, and adults. She supports them in their journey to overcome anxiety, depression, anger, grief/loss, divorce, women issues, and low confidence. Nitza utilizes a variety of evidenced-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Christian Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, Healthy Emotional Regulation, and exploration of healing the inner child.
